Recently, on Niners Live we discussed how NaVorro Bowman’s leadership would be needed the most and on Monday night against the Rams his motivational speech set the tone.

Important to note: In 2015, Bowman led the NFL with 154 tackles, 2.5 sacks, a forced fumble and earned a trip to the pro bowl and was voted amongst his peers 61st on the top 100 list.

NaVorro Bowman started his 2016 campaign of the NFL season the same way he played and ended his 2015 season, in pro bowl form and fashion.

Bowman led the 49ers in tackles with nine, seven being solo, one tackle for loss, one pass defense and an interception that led to seven points for the offense.
