San Francisco 49ers linebacker Marcus Rush last year’s undrafted player out of Michigan State turned in a three-sack performance against the defending Super Bowl champs the Denver Broncos.
Marcus Rush who spent 2015 on the 49ers practice squad turned in his best performance up to date in a 49ers uniform. Rush standing at 6′-3″, 251 lbs accounted for three sacks, four solo tackles, two for losses, two fumbles forced and registered two quarterback hits. Via ESPN.com.

Marcus Rush entered the game for a shaken up Eli Harold who got the wind knock out of him in the second quarter. Rush continued to put constant and relentless pressure on Denver’s quarterbacks throughout the night.
Rush is making his case to have a spot on the 53 man roster, and the 49ers can use all the plethora of pass rushers at their disposal, especially one’s with the ability to get to the quarterback.
Food for thought: With Arron Lynch being suspended for the first four games of the season, getting pressure on opposing quarterbacks will be vital for this defense.
